Despite my intention to resist moving into 1/48, the release of the new Tamiya British Infantry set in this scale, plus the announced release of the cut down Cromwell, have persuaded me to set my concerns aside and let fly with the tools. The result: a decent (nothing more) Universal Carrier in quarter scale, and a good exercise in photo-etch use and future varnishing. The most serendipitious result was the discovery that Tamiya weathering pigments make drybrushing a thing of the past. I am incredibly pleased about this.

This gallery is a product of the unfortunate and hopefully temporary demise of the Napnuts Gallery, the previous repository of photographs of my various wargames miniatures.

I build and collect mainly British and US ground forces of the Second World War in 20mm but have lately veered into 15mm, where I have both British and German forces.  My preference remains 20mms however for the detail and care which may be lavished upon them and the easy availability of aftermarket materials.

I hope that the galleries are of general interest to wargamers, especially given the relative paucity of photographs of some of the models I have attempted to build and paint recently.
